"The Most Dangerous Phrase In Our Language is 'We've Always Done It This Way'"
- Grace Hopper
Change is the constant of the universe. We either embrace the waves of positive growth or risk living in the heavy drain of resistance. Yet, many of us choose the depletion rather than the abundance and freedom of natural expansion and growth. Have you ever wondered why that is?
Historically, inventions that brought us greater functional comfort and ease, were often more openly embraced. But concepts and ideas that brought us greater inner comfort and ease. . . greater self-empowerment . . . were more difficult to advance. Perhaps the answer lies deep within our relationships with ourselves.
What is it that every living being seeks, as a foundation from which to live its best life? Security. Or at least a perception of feeling secure. Even a little tiny spider in the corner of your room will seek its sense of security by quickly crawling back into its hole or web when feeling threatened.
To feel secure is an inner state of being, of feeling calm, ease, flow, allowance, strength, trust, and that inner knowing that you have yourself. . . and you will be OK. To feel secure is to feel centered, connected, and conscious. Clint Eastwood's famous "Go Ahead, Make My Day", came from a place of security. . . not fear.
Lasting fear cannot co-exist with inner security. Isn't it time that humans evolve within themselves, just as they have allowed their external technology to evolve? Isn't it time to release the paradigm of fear and insecurity. . . and explore new ways to feel. . . and be. . . inside?
If you are interested in being secure, in getting to the next level of your own strength and freedom. . . and evolving into the power, peace, and joy of your true state of being. . . you don't have to do it alone.
